About Our Founder

Able Alarm was founded in 1983 by Tom Lemley, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in fire and life safety systems.

Tom holds a NICET Level IV certification in fire alarms-the highest level attainable in the industry-and a Master Electrician license, earned after serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Over the years, Tom has designed and installed systems for a wide range of clients, including cinemas, healthcare facilities, schools, retail spaces, industrial sites, commercial buildings, and residential properties. His career also includes valuable experience with a leading sprinkler contractor in Los Angeles, giving him a unique, well-rounded perspective on integrated safety solutions.
